New Beginnings in 2006
During the off season we refreshed the car with our original paint scheme.

We were very lucky to gain some new sponsors and to retain one of our past sponsors this year. Even though it doesnt look like much at times, it takes alot of money and hardwork to maintain our car.

Gina drinks water to keep her body hydrated while she is on the track, the hard work is just around the corner (left) and she is getting mentaly prepaird for the work ahead of her.
New Amsoil Colors
The Amsoil uniform looks very sharp on Gina. Thanks Amsoil for a great start to a wonderful relationship both on and off the track. 
Cool Down after hot laps
Our car runs at between 5800 rpms and 6200 rpms in low gear all the way around the track. Not only is this stressfull on Gina but it is also stressfull on the motor. This year we are running synthetic racing oil by Amsoil in the engine and we have noticed that the temperature of our engine is running 30 degrees cooler than last year but we still have to open up the hood and let air in after each run to help it cool.

Minor body repair
Sometimes we get some dents from banging into other cars and we try to fix our car the next day. In this picture we are deflating a basketball and shoving it between the rollcage and the door skin. We then inflate the basketball with compressed air and the dents pop right back out like they were never there.

Sometimes it takes more than a basketball to repair the car. Here I am hooking a hand winch to the bumper and a tree and straightening oujt the bumper that got damaged when Gina was faster than the car in front of her. I told her to go around the cars in the future. 
Hard work and perseverence
Through all of our trials we have learned alot. Our points may not always look as good as the next guys but we are learning something new every day and Gina is more determined than ever to be up front racing with the leaders and winning races. Good luck Gina in 2006 and be safe but run hard!!!
Gina In Victory Lane
Gina made it to victory lane on July 29th 2006 in a heat race. Congradulations Gina!!!
