Triumphs and Failures
We had many hopes going into season 2005, along the way we built cars for friends, revamped our own, built a trailer and had many high hopes far a successful year in racing. During the year we won 8 trophies and had a huge wreck that eliminated our first car. We built a second car in 8 days and survived the season.
Others were not as lucky.

Allen Larson's car 2005
Tom built this car for Allen, however after his own trials and tribulations, Allen decided racing was not for him.

Randy Von Haden #79 wow what a wreck!
In early August, Tom Flippo blew his engine going into turn 3 and there was no way the #99, #79,and the #2 could avoid the inevitable!!!!! After hitting the point and piling up with the others, the #79 was done for the season. Fortunately Allen Larson offered his #48 to Randy so he could finish the season. Here is a picture of Randy's car after the wreck.

The #25 also had it's own setbacks.
The beginning of 2005 started off very well. Gina consistantly ran in the top 5 of the heat races and along the way collected 8 trophies while running in both the Winged Women on Wheels and the Roadrunner divisions. In mid July Gina was forced into the wall in turn 2 by an over zealous competitor. although a great amount of effort was made, we couldn't get the #25 back to where it was a competitive runner. In mid August we built a new car and finished out the season with an impressive 22 place over all in points with the Roadrunner division.

At the end the #79 was a third of it's original size.

Wrecking our first born #25, was very hard on me!
With help from friends and family, our second born #25 was up and running in 8 days! We ran this car in Bahama Brackets and had a ton of fun, and finish 10th in the feature against some of the hardest running drivers in the area!
Look for our signature color to be back in 2006 and running harder than ever.....
